We strive to ensure that your puppy is well-balanced, socialized, and in excellent physical and mental shape; this is what sets us apart from others.

SELECTION and ETHICS
Our amateur breeding program is founded on passion, study, and responsibility.
In a sea of misinformation, confusion, and too often speculation, we have chosen to be a beacon:
💡 transparency,
💡 ethics in breeding,
💡 respect for the breed and families.
For us, breeding means:
Preserving and improving the breed, not simply "producing puppies."
Working only with individuals selected for their morphology, health, and temperament.
Subjecting each breeder to genetic testing, clinical checks, and certified orthopedic examinations.
Delivering puppies only after a complete growth and development process, with ongoing support throughout their lives.

TRAINING
Our work with puppies begins at 3 days of age with early neurological stimulation.
From 3 weeks, they are exposed to a variety of sounds through audio played at intervals throughout the day, such as thunderstorms, traffic, children, animal sounds, doorbells, fireworks, and various noises.
They will be encouraged to walk on unstable surfaces using a Balance Board to improve their spatial proprioception and build confidence.
During their stay with us, they will be introduced to different people (following strict hygiene practices) with glasses, beards, long hair, short hair, red hair, black hair, etc. As they grow, we will always take them outside safely to expose them to sounds, smells, and interactions. We also lay the groundwork for accustoming the puppies to the pen/kennel and carrier, as well as using a pee pad.

GROOMING
From 2 weeks of age, all puppies are brushed and accustomed to clippers (without blades) for 2 minutes a day. We trim their nails once a week, if requested by their families, or for promising, free-ranging puppies, we shave their faces, tails, and paws.
From 4 weeks, we begin bathing and drying them with a hair dryer and blower.
All these procedures are performed weekly until their delivery, to prepare them for future grooming.

NUTRITION
A puppy's health begins in its gut. Puppies are fed natural food based on high-quality meats and vegetables from the third to fourth week of life, which maintains their intestinal health and the development of a strong immune system. We use natural, human-grade food, raised and cultivated with ethical practices aimed at protecting the environment, and cooked using gentle methods to preserve nutritional properties. We also introduce very small amounts of kefir, vitamins, and other probiotics based on natural herbs to nourish the gut microbiota, making puppies more resistant to intestinal health problems.

A lifelong point of reference
Welcoming an Etna Poodles puppy doesn't mean being left alone after adoption.
It means entering into a relationship of trust that endures over time.
We know that raising a dog brings with it questions, doubts, important choices, and delicate moments.
For this reason, we remain a constant point of reference for the families who choose us.
Whether it concerns:
nutrition and growth
behavioral changes
introduction to a family or with other animals
developmental management
future veterinary or reproductive decisions
Etna Poodles families know they can count on honest, competent, and sincere support.
We don't offer standard answers: every dog is unique, and every journey deserves attention.

✨ A commitment to the future
Etna Poodles wants to be a reference for those who are consciously looking for a companion dog.
A healthy, balanced dog, raised with love and competence.
Don't chase the lowest price, but the highest value.
Because true love, the one that lasts a lifetime, starts with the right choice.
Our amateur breeding exclusively “single breed” of poodles in the colors FULVO (RED - APRICOT), GRAY (SILVER - SILVER), soon PHANTOM (black and tan) in the sizes TOY and DWARF does not focus on quantity, but essentially on the quality and health of the breeders, which is why we do not always have puppies available.
If possible we prefer to breed in Line-breeding, a method with which it is easier to obtain homogeneous offspring (type, size, character, etc..) but to maintain a certain genetic variability which is very important, we often resort to out-crossing matings using external stallions of innovative bloodlines.
We attend Expos because the judgments of expert judges are the basis of a good selection, they help us understand the quality of our work, which line to follow and which to abandon and where to improve.
All patients live in a familiar setting within their own home at every stage of their lives. During pregnancy, mothers are monitored closely; we perform ultrasounds and X-rays to rule out any potential problems. Nutrition is adjusted, and vitamin and mineral supplements are administered with 24-hour assistance.
Our work with puppies begins at 3 days of age with early neurological stimulation. As they grow up in a family, they interact with humans throughout the day. From 4 weeks of age, they are exposed to a wide variety of sounds through audio played intermittently throughout the day, including thunderstorms, traffic, children, animal sounds, doorbells, fireworks, and various noises. They are encouraged to walk on unstable surfaces using a Balance Board to improve their proprioception in space and build self-confidence. As puppies grow up in a family, they become accustomed to human presence, contact with children and other animals. They will be accustomed to various outdoor experiences, trained in their environment, kennel, carrier, pen, and how to use pee pads. We believe that the foundation for a confident and well-balanced adult dog begins right from the start. From a preventative standpoint, puppies are treated with regular deworming and the legally required vaccination program.
All births are duly reported to the ASP (Health and Safety Authority) with a microchip, and to the ENCI (Italian National Kennel Club) to obtain their pedigree, which allows us to view their genealogy. During their growth, our puppies are monitored by the veterinarian and will be delivered no earlier than 80/90 days after birth, considering the appropriate time for separation from their mother. We examine each request to ensure the right puppy-family match, because for us, fostering a puppy isn't simply a transfer, but a lasting relationship with your puppy and with us.
We have always stood out for:
From us you will have constant and continuous support, we also follow our puppies from a nutritional point of view, supported by a team of professionals and all this is free.
