The Value of an Etna Poodles Puppy

When you ask for the price of a Poodle, remember that behind that figure there is much more than just a number:
there is genetic selection, study, certified testing, daily care, and a journey of growth followed with dedication and love.

At Etna Poodles, every litter is the result of an ethical, responsible, and conscious choice:

  • Accurate selection of bloodlines
  • Comprehensive health profiling of our breeding dogs: certified genetic, orthopedic, and eye tests
  • Planned litters for health, balance, temperament, and ENCI/FCI breed standard compliance
  • Continuous and personalized care for mother and puppies
  • Natural, high-quality nutrition focused on animal well-being
  • Socialization, early education, and sensory development during the first 90 days
  • Full transparency and compliance with all health and legal requirements
  • Lifetime support for every family

How the Cost Is Determined

There is no fixed price: every puppy is a unique and unrepeatable living being.
Between 30 and 50 days of age, each puppy is evaluated based on:

Bloodline used in the breeding and related costs

Morphology and breed type

Pigmentation and coat quality

Temperament, balance, and behavior

Expenses incurred throughout the breeding and care process

Any minor imperfections are always disclosed.
We emphasize that perfection does not exist, but commitment to health, harmony, and quality always does.

Why Choose Etna Poodles

We are aware that our puppies may cost slightly more than average, but families who choose Etna Poodles do so not for the price —
but for awareness and trust:
to share their lives with a healthy, well-balanced puppy, ethically bred and lovingly raised in a family environment.

Be cautious of those who offer:

  • Very low prices
  • Puppies without pedigree
  • Discounts for “no pedigree” options

Behind a low price often lie compromises on health, welfare, and legality.
Remember: it is illegal to sell a dog described as “purebred” without an ENCI/FCI pedigree (Italian Legislative Decree 529/1992 – Art. 5).

Without a pedigree, you cannot know the dog’s origins or the breeder’s selection work — risking serious health and behavioral issues, a shorter lifespan, and unintentionally supporting unethical breeding practices and puppy trafficking.

Choose with Awareness

When you look for a puppy, don’t just ask “how much does it cost?” — ask “what work has been done to achieve this result?”
Learn, inquire, listen.
Only then can you tell the difference between those who breed for love and those who produce for profit.

A good puppy is not an expense — it is an investment for life.
What may seem like a good deal today could become a painful choice tomorrow.

We are not puppy dealers, but guardians of a wonderful breed.
We build lasting relationships based on trust, care, and love,
and we stand by you throughout your Poodle’s life.

If You Cannot Afford This Investment…

Consider adoption: many wonderful dogs are waiting in shelters for a second chance.
Offering love to a soul in need is one of the noblest acts one can do.

How Much Does a Poodle Puppy Cost

In Italy, a Poodle puppy bred ethically, certified, and raised with true professionalism cannot have a “low” price.

Behind every puppy there are years of study, genetic testing, veterinary care, quality nutrition, and a careful, individualized upbringing.

Indicatively, the average prices among reputable Italian breeders are:

Toy Poodle: from € 3.500 to € 4.500*

Dwarf Poodle: from € 2.500 to € 3.500*

For puppies over 6 months of age, with a more defined size and morphology, prices may increase significantly — sometimes up to double — as these dogs are already developed, often pre-trained, and may be suitable for show or breeding purposes.

* The prices shown are purely indicative and reflect the national average among serious and officially recognized breeders.
They may vary depending on several factors, including:

  • quality and rarity of the bloodline
  • certified health tests and genetic screenings
  • morphology and temperament
  • potential for show or breeding
  • overall care, nutrition, and developmental costs

👉 Always be cautious of those offering “purebred” puppies at unusually low prices or without an ENCI/FCI pedigree:
it is impossible to breed ethically and legally at such costs.
Behind suspiciously low prices often lie health, welfare, or legal compromises — ultimately at the expense of the animals themselves.
